Concert Reviews
... On their first concert tour to India, the Austrian Duo :nota bene: had stopped in Chennai for a tuneful treat. The performance for the day began with the Sonata KV 305 by Mozart with two contrasting sections, superfast played first half and slow paced second half.
Alexander Vavtar entertained the gathering not just with his piano but also with anecdotes in between the performances. But for Eva Steinschaden, her violin spoke for her and otherwise her smile.
The duo stood up for the thunderous applause at the end of the concert, but the fans, as they won’t get another chance, made them sit again to perform once more.
