2017
In 2017, the Duo :nota bene: made its first concert tour to Indonesia. Invited by the IOEF-Festival Jakarta, the two musicians gave master classes, held workshops and played cconcerts in Jakarta and Surabaya.
The Duo was deeply impressed by the hospitality and cordiality of the locals!
Concert tours to the USA
2011
In 2011, the Duo :nota bene: was invited for a second visit to the USA. The two musicians gave concerts in New York – in the splendid hall of the Austrian Cultural Forum – and in Washington in the main hall of the Austrian Embassy. The Duo was particularly proud to present new works by Beat Furrer and Helmut Schmidinger at both concerts, before a full house.
This trip will remain in the memory of the musicians for a quite different reason, however: on the flight from Munich, a technical fault in the aeroplane meant that they landed in New York only four hours before the concert…
Concert Festival Aspekte Salzburg 2010
2010
The Duo :nota bene: has always given particular attention to contemporary music. After performances in 2008, the two musicians took part once again in the 2010 Aspekte Festival in Salzburg, an event specifically for contemporary music, lasting for several days. Together with cellist Detlef Mielke and vibraphonist Rizumu Sugishita they performed works by Resch, Silvestrov, Gubaidulina and Lutosławski in the ARGEkultur.
The highlight of the concert was the world première of Quadrolog for piano trio and vibraphone, by the Salzburg composer Gerhard Wimberger.

It is always a great pleasure to experience the warm hospitality of the Turkish people.
Concert tours to Greece
2009
The Duo :nota bene: has been a frequent guest in Greece. In 2009 the two musicians made a special trip to three of the Dodecanese Islands. Besides giving concerts on Rhodes and Kalymnos, they took part in the 2009 Symi Festival.
The open-air concert on Symi will be a lasting memory for the Duo, with the evocative atmosphere (though in tropical heat) in a charming square in front of an old church.
Concert tours to Poland
2009
The Duo :nota bene: has visited Poland twice. In 2009, the Haydn anniversary year, there were concerts with the Poznań Philharmonic and the Sinfonia Varsovia, naturally with solo works by Joseph Haydn. The only chamber concert of this tour was held in Elk, a beautiful town in the heart of Masuria.
Concert tours to China
2005/2007/2009
The Duo :nota bene: has done several tours in China, always through the agency of WU-Promotion in Beijing. On travels right across China, the two musicians experienced many interesting encounters and places, not only in Beijing and Shanghai. The highlights of the journey were, however, the concerts in the Oriental Arts Centre, Shanghai and in the Shangai Concert Hall, before an audience of more than 1,000. We have compiled here some impressions of these tours.

The Duo :nota bene: has frequently visited Mexico, and has had some of the most wonderful experiences in this magnificent country with its unbelievably enthusiastic audiences. The Duo was invited to Mexico for the Mozart anniversary celebrations in 2006, and gave concerts in Morelia, Zacatecas and Mexico City. It was a particular pleasure to perform not only Mozart's music but also works by his son Franz Xaver for the appreciative Mexican audience.
